I have seen Chow Yun-Fat in Chinese Martial Arts movies before and enjoy the peaceful smile that he exhibits while kicking butt of the bad guys. Scott, on the other hand, was an obnoxious jerk …

Viewed by many as a gender switched redo of John Hughes and Howard Deutch previous collaboration Pretty in Pink, Some Kind of Wonderful is so much more than this and it is a kind of unfair label.

“Catch Me If You Can” is a by product of a mixture of Tom Hanks and Leonardo diCaprio talents together with the great talents of the director Steven Spielberg. I must admit that I really had high expectations about this movie. After watching it, I must say that “Catch …

“Let Me In” is another one of the movies that I watched recently. I remember seeing it advertising several times before my cable television went, but for some reason, I wasn’t very interested in seeing it. However, it was only after I read about it on someone’s blog where …

In Her Shoes star Cameron Diaz as well as Toni Collette. They play sisters in this movie and the Director of this movie had certainly written a very feel-good story about what sibling rivalry perhaps is and that chain simply cannot be broken.
Cameron plays the character Maggie and she …

I got bored Friday night and ended up watching American Pie 2 on one of our movie channels. I haven’t seen the movie in a while and couldn’t remember much of it. It turns out there’s a reason why it wasn’t that memorable.
The first American Pie movie is a …

“Grindhouse” consists of two wildly entertaining films, “Planet Terror,” written and directed by Robert Rodriguez, and “Death Proof,” written and directed by Quentin Tarantino. Both fall into a category that can partially be described as an homage to low-budget exploitation cinema popular in the 1970’s and the kind of …

Though I tend to love a Ron Howard movie because it’s most always well crafted and told with respect as well as flair, I hadn’t yet watched Far and Away until a friend sent it to me a while ago. I actually watched it in pieces; couldn’t quite …

This is a good, although dated, family movie that you can safely watch with your children without worrying about bad language, violence, or nudity. If your child is obsessed with horses, like I used to be when I was a kid, this movie will be a great choice.
Helen (Ellen …

I am a huge fan of all of the Ocean’s movies, Ocean’s eleven probably being my favorite of the three so far. What I love about this movie is that the makers never forget that this movie if made up of STARS and every single characters gets to …

What is the aim of this motion picture? Where is the purpose? If you ask me, there are none. This movie developes waaaaay too fast, there is too much momentum. I find it hard to put in words how terrible this movie is. The original of this one overshadows …

I really love watching the season, Lost. I think that it has a lot of educational things and keeps the mind going around thinking what will happen next, and who will be the next victim. This Complete First Season is a very important one for me, as …

I am reviewing the movie, My First Wedding, starring British heart throb Kenny Doughtry and the main actress from She’s All That. Kenny Doughtry plays Father Nick. Doughtry’s character is really a church carpenter, but one day a woman mistakes him for a priest when he is …

One of Alfred Hitchcock’s minor works tells a chilling story about murders, innocently accused men and all of the standard Hitchcock components. The difference between this and North by northwest for instance, is that Mr Hitchcock must have been very uninspired when he did this. Either that or that …

Bruce Almighty with Jim Carey, Jennifer Anniston, and Morgan Freeman.
Since the concept of this movie appears to be original, I found it highly interesting regardless of the cast of star actors. What makes this a real winner is Jim Carey, who is at his …

I watched “Little Black Book” because I read the story of the film and thought that it was a good movie, however it ended up not to deliver what was expected. The script could have been improved much more in order to let the actresses, Brittany Murphy and Holly …

When the Simpsons started on television, I thought it was the best show ever. But, over the past few years, the episodes seemed forced and less and less original.

I skipped seeing this …

OK, let us see what this movie has in store for the poor viewers such as us. To start off with, in my estimation, why the hell was this even put into production? As if the series was not torturous enough, now we have to be subjected to this …

This is a unique werewolf movie based on “Red Riding Hood” and one I enjoyed watching. Angela Landsbury is the star and she does a wonderful job of playing the girl’s grandmother. Based on the clothing the characters wear, the story is set during Pilgrim days except it takes …
