An abundant of people denounce against movies because they think that films are just made for entertainment and they spoil a child’s mind. This is not true because many films today are educational and teach us the values of life. I visited the Detroit Film Theatre on December 2, …

Jim Carrey was brilliantly funny in this movie. He has always been one of my favorite actors and this movie just sealed it. It kind of made me think not to ever question God’s authority again. Jim Carrey plays a guy who is fed up with always being the …

If at all possible, never, ever, ever, ever rent this movie. I went online at Netflix, thinking that this was going to be an innovative horror film. I was so disappointed. The beginning is rather stark. There are three serial killers who work …

Whoever said that Christian Slater can be the lead role in any movie? He is so one dimensional that few movies stand a chance of surviving his subpar performances. Val Kilmer …

500 Days of Summer is quite an interesting, and unique film. I decided to watch it after hearing of comparisons with Garden State, which I loved.

I watched “Fred Claus” today with my family. It was an overall pretty good movie. I wouldn’t give it a ten or anything but it is worth watching, especially around the holidays and Christmas. It has Vince Vaughn, Paul Giamitti, Kevin Spacey, and Kathy Bates. You would think with …

Of all the black and white films, this one is the best. In fact, many people consider Casablanca the best film of all time, and for a good reason. I myself can agree to this. The dialogue alone is so crisp, and no doubt about it, …

Sky High is a 2005 move that mixes elements of both the superhero and teen movie genres into an enjoyable, exceptionally fun movie going experience. It’s not the best movie around, and certainly isn’t the best composite of it;s two respective genres, but it is still a very watchable …

The classic fairytale by Barry in a new version. The most famous films on the story would be Disney’s classic animation and Spielberg’s Hook. This new version follows the same path as those two films and doesn’t really break any new ground, not even visually. For those of us …

For a while, comedian Robin Williams pretty much just slipped off the face of the Earth. Whenever he did have a good movie, it was more of a drama than an actual comedy. But, recently, he seems to have found himself again. First, there was RV, which turned out …

I generally enjoy the superhero movies, but this one has something extra. It’s more realistic for those who just can’t get into the far-fetched fantasy scenarios of X-Men or Spider-Man. It doen’t try to be overly serious, nor does lack depth. It’s a perfect combination of sweet action, …

I am the real movie watcher, I watch a lot. I have chosen this film because I am a huge psychological/detective movies lover. When I choose to watch that film I did not read any review, I even did not know what about it will be.
In my opinion the …

I don’t know if the whole Jennifer Lopez thing is all played out. But seeing her in another “Getting Married” movie is just not cutting it for me anymore. This movie is another don’t watch film starring J-Lo. If you’ve seen one you’ve seen them all. This film is …

Here’s a sequel to that movie with two famous actresses who kissed each other on screen. Ticket sales were pretty high for Wild Things and video sales were much bigger just for one scene. It would only make sense to cash-in on that one sequence and make Wild Things …

James Bond and his arch enemy Ernst Stavro Blofeld returns in this film which is considered as one of the worst by many Bond fans, but I personally think it’s extremely intense all the way through. The story leads Bond through several different countries, facing many dangers as usual, …
