Just one year after Oklahoma, Shirley Jones and Gordon MacRae reunited in Carousel, which is another classic movie musical. The chemistry was still there, though the ending is very different, in part by the nature of the story itself.
My favorite part of the movie, though, is the ending …

This remake of a Thai film is, simply put, bad. The acting is stodgy and stilted at best, while the stylistic approach seems to follow that set by The Ring years earlier. It seems like, since the success of that horror movie, numerous new imitations and remakes of asian …

This is one of Suzuki’s films that is most unlike the major part of his work. The narrative is of the same style as his other films, but here I think he goes much deeper into the personalities of his characters and gives a more moving portrait of human …

“Lucky Numbers” is the comedy that must have give the actor, John Travolta a lot of nightmares because unfortunately he got a Razzie Award for his interpretation of Russ Richard. I must admit that John Travolta interpretation lacks that special magic, however it was very much unfair to hand …

In what could probably be described as her “Showgirls” come back, Demi Moore stars as Jordan O’Neill, a naval sergeant who becomes the test subject of female allowance into the elite Navy Seals program.
This excellent action-drama is one of Moore’s best performances, in my opinion. As O’Neill, she struggles …

Great comedy staring the then-not-so-popular Scarlett Johansson. This movie also stared Thora Birch, and one of my favorite actors, Steve Buscemi. Ghost World is based off of the comic book title of the same name, it I promise you, this will be one of the best comedy-drama movies you’ll …
