Kristin Chenowith stars in this 2009 holiday movie, The 12 Men of Christmas. Chenowith is a refreshing actress. She’s very petite with a petite, off-beat sounding voice. She’s a perky blonde who can both act and sing. When I heard about this new seasonal flick, …

One of the great things about 1950s monster movies is you can always expect some sort of mutant creature created by radiation.
The movie Them! is definitely a perfect example of movies like that.
Overall, Them is an Ok movie. It’s really not that scary or even suspensful. But, what it …

Doris Day and Rock Hudson team up again for Lover Come Back from 1961. It’s a really fun and daffy romantic comedy that I enjoy a lot, though Pillow Talk is my favorite of their three motion pictures together.
In Lover Come Back, both Day and Hudson play ad …

Director Courtney Solomon’s direction in the film “An American Haunting” was well done in some aspects. I believe that he used the elements of atmosphere to his advantage and played with it to draw the audience into the dark winter of 1818. Unfortunately, like with most of …

I haven’t seen any Sci-Fi movie like this one, it’s an adventure and a thriller movie as well and you can really learn a lot about just concentrating on the film itself, like you can learn a lot about basic astronomy and the solar system, and things like so …

I’m a horror fan who likes my weekly dose of horror movies, especially when I’m in a particular mood and I feel like chilling out. I generally don’t gravitate to C and D-rated horror movies or even those of a certain genre, but there are times when I’m so …

This movie was much talked-about and I wasn’t really into these type of movies since they’re much more of a guy’s type of movie but since there wasn’t anything else showing in the cinema except for Diary of a Wimpy Kid and Beastly, of course I opted to watch …

This movie surprised me a bit when I saw it for the first time, maybe the disturbing regular nudity of the hero more than anything… anyway..phallic fixations, parent-child problems and low passions, is the new adaptation of the epic poem. Being the third adaptation of the story of “Beowulf” …

In the movie story, Serendipity, I think the collaboration of John Cusack and Kate Beckinsale truly rock!

This strange passion - or “El”, as it is better known - is one my of favorite films by Luis Bunuel. It is about a middle aged man who suffers from paranoia. This disease (as I would call it) is masterfully portraited by Buñuel here, using his own surrealist …
