I recently rented a DVD of episodes from the show Clifford the Big Red Dog for my daughter. And, even though I wasn’t watching it with her very closely, some of the episodes managed to stick out in my head. One of those was “Mac’s Secret Dog Club.”
I liked …

This season seven entry of Stargate SG-1 doesn’t really excite me that much. Avenger 2.0 brings back the geek from season six’s The Other Guys. As played by Patrick McKenna, Felger means well, but he’s essentially a fumbling geek with a big crush on Sam.
The negatives on this …

The Ray Bradbury Theater: Fee Fie Foe Fum aired in October 1992 and featured All in the Family’s lovable Jean Stapleton as Grandma. Co-starring in the half hour episode was Lucy Lawless as Liddy Barton and Robert Morelli as Tom. There’s also a pretty white dog. …

This was So You Think You Can Dance’s 150th episode according to host Cat Deeley. That’s great, but her dress wasn’t. Talk about tacky — yuck. On the plus side, the show had a special fourth guest judge, Kenny Ortega. That was fun. What …

OK, I have to say it. I have watched plenty of Ghost Hunters episodes in the past and have been left with doubts about what they have found. But, when I saw the Season 2 episode “Crescent Hotel & Dr. Ellis” I have to admit I was pretty creeped …

I wasn’t that …

Supernatural season 2 wasn’t nearly as good as the first season and it also wasn’t quite as good as some episodes in the third season, but it was still pretty good. The first season ended on a cliffhanger and the first episode picks up right where that one ended. …

This UK version of Undercover Boss was the first to feature a female executive that I know of. The U.S.A. version didn’t use a female in its first season at all. The woman in question was Marija Simovic, Chief Executive Officer for Harry Ramsden’s, said to be …

I’m not really very familiar with Plastic Man. I always think that the episodes with him involved are going to be sub-par but they usually turn out to be rather enjoyable.
With villains who have names like Kite-Man and Rubberneck, my expectations were pretty low, but they …

AS someone who spent years selling real estate in one of the toughest markets in the country, New York City, it is only natural that I would gravitate to a real estate show, but it is one that anyone would enjoy. One thing that I like, as long as …

On its own merits, this episode is not half bad. The one major drawback is that the plot is very, very similar to that of the last episode. While comparison between this and “Born Again” were inevitable, I can’t help but feel like the producers made a …

Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea: Werewolf, the second show of the third season, begins a little like last week’s show, in that we begin by seeing a scientist working on a project outside of the Seaview. Last week it was Arthur Hill diving on the ocean …

Stargate SG-1: Avalon Part 2 is the second episode of season nine, a season I’d just as soon forget, with a handful of exceptions.
Mainly, this episode continues the ridiculous plot of Daniel and Vala being linked because of these bracelets that she found. Neither can stay too far …

A few years ago, NBC’s The Office was the best show on the air. Quick, clever, and hilarious, this was a pleasure to tune into each and every week. The excitement of the tension between Pam and Jim, the awkwardness that Michael is sure to cause, and Dwight’s disturbing …

I was surfing channels when I saw this show at the National Geographic Channel. The title is “My Dog Ate What?” and it was very engaging I watched the whole show.
This is about dogs (and in this episode called “Batteries and Cereal Boxes”, a tortoise was featured too!) who …

America’s Got Talent: The Finals for 2010 was a pretty decent show, presented in an hour format. With four finalists, it easily could have been a rockin’ half hour event. I’m admittedly getting tired of all of the fluff that these shows do. I’m not fond …

I finally got to see the season 1 finale of Buffy the Vampire Slayer “Prophecy Girl” and have to admit it made up for the numerous crappy episodes of the series in that first season.
The episode has Buffy finally facing the Master; more importantly it has her doing so …

I thought this was one of the most memorable X-Files episodes. It guest starred a famous comedian Kathy Griffin, and it was the 159th episode of the television series. It was also the 20th episode of season 7 of “The X-Files”. It was memorable because I found that the …

I have recently started to watch the TV series Dark Angel. Jessica Alba is the main character, and I have to say that she could use some acting lessons. Sometimes she over acts, and sometimes she under acts. She does not seem to be able to …

Season 8 begins with M*A*S*H: Too Many Cooks, guest starring a very young Ed Begley Jr. as Private Paul Conway. Conway is a bit of a klutz, but he’s also a terrific cook. This enthuses the camp tremendously. Unfortunately, the troops can’t convince Colonel Sherman Potter …

One of the biggest reasons I like the different Law & Order programs over other detective shows is I was always impressed that they would focus on solving the crimes and didn’t write in any romantic story lines between the detectives.
Unfortunately, last night, Law & Order SVU crossed that …

This sixth season episode of Stargate SG-1 does nothing for me at all. It’s one of the reasons I just groan through most of the shows. This one is called Prophecy, and it focuses on Jonas Quinn, which may be why I just don’t like it.
The show ties …

Back in the 1960’s, Patrick McGoohan masterminded a very strange and peculiar show for British television that aired for one crazy season. It was an intellectual show that could easily stagger and boggle the mind of the average person. In 2009, AMC aired an updated version of …

We follow up an episode dealing with a Satanic cult with one that deals with voodoo. This episode could’ve very easily felt like a pale rehash, but it does enough differently that it is able to differentiate itself from its predecessor.
I wasn’t sure about this episode …
