  • Prophecy has nothing special to offer in my opinion
  • It is definitely one of those episodes that makes me yawn
  • The good news, though, is that it's the second to the last episode of season six, and the last episode is one of the best

This sixth season episode of Stargate SG-1 does nothing for me at all. It’s one of the reasons I just groan through most of the shows. This one is called Prophecy, and it focuses on Jonas Quinn, which may be why I just don’t like it.

      The show ties back to

Nirrti’s DNA experiments and now somehow, Jonas can supposedly see into the future, and he gets pretty insistent about his visions.

Stargate SG-1: Prophecy has nothing special to offer in my opinion. It is definitely one of those episodes that makes me yawn.

The good news, though, is that it’s the second ...

      • to the last episode of season six, and the last episode is one of the best.

Corin Nemec, who plays Jonas, may have felt the handwriting was on the wall. In all fairness, he never really had a chance to be successful on SG-1, not with the way his character was

introduced. Though no one will admit it, he was doomed from the start and practically gone from the start. With all the reminders of Michael Shanks throughout the season, he never had a prayer.

With this final episode to watch at your own risk, things do get better, for two more seasons!
