This movie wasn’t all that good. There were a couple of funny parts in the movie but nothing was really funny. Nothing in the film made me laugh. Overall it was alright but I didn’t really like it. I didn’t care for it. I wouldn’t recommend it to hardly …

The key message behind the movie “A time for dancing” is that if you believe enough, you can make your dreams come true. Although this film conveys a very noble message to youth, however it lacks a strong script.
The story of this movie is about two best friends, Sam …

This is a film in which the plot has to remain a secret to have any power to it. All I can say is that the film tells the story of a dutch couple on a vacation together. That’s how the film begins anyway, then there’s a twist and …

I have always gotten a kick out of this comedy starring Cary Grant. It’s called Mr. Blandings Builds His Dream House and uses Grant’s comedic skills wisely. As the affable Jim Blandings, Grant is the common, everyday man who agrees with his wife that they have the …

This is going to be one of those movies that you will be quoting from for the rest of your life. I promise you. I remember back in the day when it first came out and I thought it was hilarious. I thought I was the only one who …

All Shall Be Well was written by Deborah Crombie (published by Avon Books in 2004).

The Kansas City Shuffle. I would love to go up to a random man, waiting in a bus station, only to talk about the Kansas City Shuffle, as Bruce Willis did at the beginning of this wonderful movie. I enjoy every single movie that I’ve seen with Bruce Willis, …

I saw this movie yesterday and its really very fun movie. It actully shows the mindset of the one who is addidcted by the disease called shopping. So many people has got such disease that they cant stop their urge to shop more and more, though they have got …

Fans of the initial Neon Genesis Evangelion anime television series were widely disappointed with the show’s ending. Reportedly because of a cut in budget, the final two episodes were light on action, heavy on introspective monologues and minimal animation. Now End of Evangelion fills in the gaps …

I sat down to watch the third Resident Evil movie last night; Extinction. While I thought it was an OK movie, I think they might have taken the series a bit too far.
The first thing I really didn’t like about that movie is the fact about half the main …

My cousin loved this movie when she saw it in the theaters. So when it came out on dvd she bought it and gave it to me to let me borrow and watch it. I thought it was really good. The only thing I didn’t like it in was …

You always hear people discussing cinematography in various films and movies, but in the movie I finally saw last night, —˜Earth,’ the cinematography is magnificent and clearly on a different level than most documentaries I have seen. The movie is made up of several —˜stories’ of animals in their …

Few movies that are noncartoon can entertain my two three years old. However, last night HBO was playing their new hit, Duma. From what I have come to understand, this is one of Walt Disney’s new classic movies about the life of a leopard and his relationship …

This is the second movie that came out after the first. Cheaper By The Dozen 2 is better than the first. I couldn’t stop laughing. Steve Martin and Bonnie Hunt once again play the Bakers and get themselves and their twelve kids into a ton of trouble when they …

I actually really liked this movie. The film seeks to bring together the original movie (with Christoper Lambert) and the Highlander series. They (wisely, I might add) pretty much completely ignore Highlander 2 and 3. They pick up from the end of the first movie and, …

I am reviewing The Copper Beaches, a Sherlock Holmes episode from the boxed set, The Adventure of Sherlock Holmes, produced in 1983 by Granada television. In this episode, Holmes is employed by a red headed governess, who has landed a position with a couple with one small boy. She …

Something To Talk About is a movie about relationships. And if you love horses, you will love the equestrian action in this film! Julia Roberts is Grace, a bored and well to do housewife who works at her family’s horse ranch. She and her husband, Eddie (Dennis Quaid), have …

This is either a movie you’re going to love or you’re going to hate. As such, it’s understandable why this movie got mixed reviews. What I had read had been more positive than negative so I went ahead and picked it up on DVD (this was before …

Atlantis The Lost Empire is one of my all time favorite animated films. I think the scenes in this movie are just breathe taking. I was very impressed with how cool Atlantis looked in the movie. Atlantis The Lost Empire really paints a great image of what Atlantis probably really …

If you’re looking for a really bad black comedy film from the 70s and early 80s, don’t hesitate to watch the 1984 movie The Brother from Another Planet.
Joe Morton plays “The Brother,” an escaped slave from a planet know as “Another Planet.” I think that was the best joke …

This was a great movie for me. I used to work in retail. Most movies are based out of big city office complexes, and most of the average people working in shopping centers, restaurants, or some other ordinary job. So I really related to this movie. However the …

RomeoXJuliet Episode 16 begins with Lady Hermione asking Mercutio if he knows if Romeo is safe after she hears about the collapse at the Gradisca Mines. She decides to go see Romeo herself and hopes to win his love so he will be with her and not with …

Living Out Loud is a very nice 2009 (though it was filmed in 2008) Hallmark movie about a woman who discovers she has breast cancer. The film follows her discovery, treatment, decisions, and recovery.
Gail O’Grady turns in a powerful performance as Emily Marshall, teacher, mother, and wife, who …

Dr Phibes returns, this time to find an elixir of life in Egypt, which he think can revive his beloved wife. But to get ahold of that he needs to make a few sacrifices of course..

I give most of my reviews on DVD movies, due to the fact that I love watching television and movies.
When I first watched this movie, I was interested and intrigued from the start of it until the end. To me, the movie was very suspenseful and dramatic. Everytime there …

This 2008 release is a very disappointing movie. I’ve seen the trailer a few times so I thought it would be a good horror movie. However, I found the introduction long and dragging. There were several “quiet” scenes where the characters were just being sad and depressed and not …

Daniel Deronda (BBC, 2002), based on a novel by George Eliot, is a treat for period drama fans, especially those with the idealistic side who love a Noble Hero. Daniel (Hugh Dancy) is a handsome young gentleman raised and educated by Sir Hugo Mallinger, a wealthy aristocrat. The society …

Underworld Evolution revisits the lady vampire that Kate Beckinsale plays in the film. Also, her half wereworlf, half vampire boyfriend who is like the superman of the dark underworld. This is one of the few sequels I’ve seen which I liked better than the original. I thought it was …

Walt Disney has presented many delightful cartoons over the decades. This animated short from 1939 is called Goofy and Wilbur and was the first time that Goofy was the main character and supporting Mickey Mouse or another Disney main character. The situation is that Goofy is going …

If anything, “Life is Beautiful” was the first movie that made me cry. I had watched “Schindler’s List” and other such movies about the Holocaust before, but I never had had the experience of watching such a heartwrenching movie, ever. The undying love of a father for his young …

The movie “Circus of Fear” is one of the actor Christopher Lee’s older movies. At first I got the impression from the title that it was going to be a horror film, but, instead it turned out to be more of a mystery/suspense film. Personally, even though the …

The first disk of the Dead Like Me DVD set contains the pilot plus a lot of special features. There were a number of deleted scenes, something that I always love to see. My one complaint is that there were four screens of these deleted scenes and …

The opening titles say The Water Diviner is inspired by true events, but Russell Crowe’s directorial debut, despite appearances, is fairly liberal with the truth. Taking their queue from a single line written in a Lt. Colonel Cyril Hughes’ letter, about an Australian father who ventured to Turkey in …

My wife read my oldest daughter the Dr. Seuss book the Lorax the other day. The next morning, she remembered she owned the short 1970s movie based on the book and asked if we could watch it with her as an early family movie night. After some reluctance, we …

If there’s a film-maker that has accepted the notion of the old avant-garde style, which professes the use of very specific direction and narration in the most unconventional way, it is Terrence Malik. His style is not for everyone, and perhaps that includes me.
…

I might not see her in many movies now, especially after her shoplifting stunt a couple of years ago but once upon a time, Winona Ryder was one of my favourite actors. I especially liked a couple of her films from the eighties, some of which I could watch …

Awesome, spectacular and breathtaking…a wonderful piece of animation and a dark human twist. From the start of this film it shows off its use of excellent animation of the demon boar. The artwork in this film is killer. Words cannot explain the sheer brilliance taken in the creation of …

While I like some action movies, I generally do not like those that include the actors Jean-Claude Van Damme and Steven Segal since I have noticed that while these movies are usually jam packed with action scenes, they also usually have the same cliché characters and these action movies …

With the previous entry in the series (Dead Man’s Chest) boasting a controversial cliffhanger of an ending, fans who saw Dead Man’s Chest were no doubt clamoring for the epic finale to the trilogy after walking out of the theater one year ago. Indeed, for me it was a …

I watched this the other day and it was awesome. Audrey Tautou’s performance is really thumbs-up and even though this movie is a long-ago one, I find it super awesome, get what I mean. If you don’t believe, watch it and you will understand what I am trying …

Call me easily amused, but I sincerely think that Ace Ventura, Pet Detective is one of the most hillarious movies of all times. Jim Carey is just outstanding in this flick, and basically utilizes every funny bone in his body to put on a powerfully amusing movie. …

Gameznflix is a service that you can subscribe to online. It offers movies and games that you can rent. Based on the free trial that I did, I would never subscribe to this site. I didn’t rent any games only movies. The movies take a while to get to …

It is really such a pity because Fighting (starring Channing Tatum) could have been so much better. In more ways than one, it has a special potential for being a great fighting movie but it fails to. Even Channing Tatum’s handsome looks could not make me really happy …
