  • I like the story because it is like you can almost picture what is going and there is a sountrack to back up Geddy Lee's great vocal work
  • For the time the guitar work by Alex lifeson is just amazing and the percussion grooves by Neil peart are propably the best you'll ever listen to
  • I recommend this album to any Rush fan because it's such a breakthrough album

One of the greatest progressive bands Rush, released their album 2112 on 1976. This was their fourth album that peaked to gold on the Billboard chart.

This album features a eponymous seven-part suite written by Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson with lyrics by Neil Peart.

Te first song on the first side of the album is named after the name of the album.

The track’s name is 2112 and tells of a dystopian story about a city named Syrinx set in the future with Geddy Lee as the main charachter and his role as one of the priests.

It is split up in seven parts that either are heavy driven or very calm.

I like the story because it is like you can almost picture what ...

Even the Bass by Geddy lee stands out well in the mix with many effects such as water, synthesizers and other voice

effcts to give the song an even more real feeling.

The next side of the album features a ballad with use of the mellotron in Tears, and a heavy but catchy tune called A Passage to Bangkok as well as The Twilight Zone, Lessons, and Something for Nothing.

I recommend this album to any Rush fan because it’s such a breakthrough album.
