  • Maybe I was just fed up with all the hype with these pop stars wannabe that when I first heard about Lady Gaga, I decided that I really don't like her
  • It was one of her normal sounding tracks and I realized that despite all the incomprehensible blabbering and stuttering on some of her songs, she actually has an amazing voice
  • I found out that she was a great singer and songwriter
  • I think she even surpassed Madonna’s greatness when it comes to reinventing herself—no offense to all the Madonna fans out there
  • Lady Gaga had actually made her own genre of music, fashion and image which I find admirable because I’ve noticed that almost all of the pop stars lately have been trying to mimic the sound and image of previously successful music figures

I used to hate Lady Gaga. Maybe I was just fed up with all the hype with these pop stars wannabe that when I first heard about Lady Gaga, I decided that I really don’t like her. Plus, her knack of wearing outrageous outfits turned me off.

My conversion began when I heard her song, Paparazzi. It was one of her normal sounding tracks and I realized that despite all the incomprehensible blabbering and stuttering on some of her songs, she actually has

an amazing voice. That piqued my interest and I started looking her up on the internet and read more stories about her. I found out that she was a great singer and songwriter. A newfound respect for this artist started to build up inside me. When I saw more of her outfits, I realized that she was actually fashionable. She was obsessed with fashion—even the quirky, bizarre, deviant side of it. She was not afraid to cross the line and defy the norms.

      • If Alexander McQueen and Donatella Versace were a couple, Lady Gaga would be their lovechild.

I listened to more of her music and found myself liking them. I also admire her advocacy of promoting gay rights. She’s a chameleon. I think she even surpassed Madonna’s greatness when it comes to reinventing herself—no offense to all the Madonna fans out there. Perhaps, Lady Gaga doesn’t even deserve to be compared to Madonna or any pop queen wannabes in the music industry right now. Lady

Gaga had actually made her own genre of music, fashion and image which I find admirable because I’ve noticed that almost all of the pop stars lately have been trying to mimic the sound and image of previously successful music figures. She’s fabulous and brilliant—in her own weird way. Now I’m not afraid to admit that I’ve become one of Lady Gaga’s little monsters all over the world. I just can’t help it. She’s that addicting and her music is so infectious.

        Go, Gaga!
