  • First, the best thing I've noticed right away is that this particular Blackberry comes with a touch pad instead of a trackball, which is amazing because Blackberry users know that it's a pain when your trackball gets stuck and your Blackberry is virtually useless
  • There is one minor issue that I have with this blackberry
  • It's sleek, its fashionable, it's definitely durable and the battery life is pretty good too
  • I recommend it for anyone who's looking to trade up from a flip, sidekick, or older, outdated Blackberry model

I purchased the Blackberry 8520 back in September and I have to say that it is one of the most functional and reliable Blackberries I’ve had and also one of the most reliable phones I’ve purchased. First, the best thing I’ve noticed right away is that this particular Blackberry comes with a touch pad instead of a trackball, which is amazing because Blackberry users know that it’s a pain when

your trackball gets stuck and your Blackberry is virtually useless. The email client is amazing and reliable (i’m still on the EDGE network) and the browser is updated and faster than the older Blackberries. The addition of the Blackberry World App is great because now I can download all the apps I need (most the ones I use are free) and I don’t have to scout the web for third ...

There is one minor issue that I have with this blackberry. I downloaded the enhanced gmail plugin client for the blackberry instead of the actual program, and like the gmail app for blackberry, is usually 60-70 minutes late with emails. For example, you may receive an email at 2:00 PM but it won’t appear in your message inbox until an hour later. It’s a pain because

my fastest way of contacting certain people is through email and one of my main emails is gmail.

It’s sleek, its fashionable, it’s definitely durable and the battery life is pretty good too. I use my blackberry every day for every thing and I would say that my battery last at least 14-16 hours. I recommend it for anyone who’s looking to trade up from a flip, sidekick, or older, outdated Blackberry model
