The Adventures of Brisco County Jr.: Senior Spirit is awesome episode and is perhaps the best show to air since the pilot. In this show, Brisco is surprised when Socrates shows him a piece of the orb that had been with his father’s affects. There’s actually a nice piece of interaction here between these two, with Brisco being angry that Socrates hadn’t told him this before

and Socrates actually standing his ground and pointing out that he was telling him now, in spite of his orders from their employers. It really was tops.

In the course of events, Brisco touches the orb and something interesting happens. I won’t say what specifically occurs because it’s special and I wouldn’t want to ruin this for folks who haven’t seen it yet, but what it does ...

      • is present several very wonderful moments throughout the remainder of the show. These are moments of personal discovery for our hero and they cover a range of emotions. It’s fascinating to see Brisco go through those highs and lows. These scenes make this show very special and worth watching all on their own.

In the show, Brisco is trying to rescue the son of one of

the tycoons sons, Jason Barkley (Jason Marsden). Once again, John Astin reprises his role as Professor Albert Wickwire, which means this story definitely involves the orb. Billy Drago is wild as the outlaw, John Bly. He also makes a key statement in this episode that leads to a new perspective on the orb.

The Adventures of Brisco County Jr.: Senior Spirit is terrific and is a must see episode.
