      The Adventures of Brisco County Jr.: Pirates was a bit of a disappointment for me. I always expect pirate themes to have a real edge to them, some real swashbuckling swagger and color. When I don’t get that, it colors things negatively. I just don’t feel like this episode

      had the right tone to fit the title and the actual events of the story.

      • west, was the most interesting. That’s not only a credit to Moloney, but also to child actor Adam Wylie, who played Charlie Sims. He really wanted a dad to be proud of, and it took some help from Brisco to help him achieve that. The emotion and heart of
        this tale was the saving grace of the Pirates episode.

        Andrew Divoff as Blackbeard LaCutte wasn’t up to the pirate’s code. None of the actors playing the pirates did much for me. So, overall, this is a so-so outing for Brisco County. A bit better casting might have helped the story out.
