I really wasn’t that impressed with The Adventures of Brisco County Jr.: Brisco in Jalisco except for the opening scene that included Robert Fuller and Paul Brinegar as two of the tycoons who had hired Brisco County Jr. to work for their association. They are only in the one scene and it’s all too

short, but as a fan of Fuller’s, it was fun for me.

      >From that point on, Brisco heads for Jalisco and it all goes south. He’s reunited with sexy songbird Dixie Cousins (Kelly Rutherford) who was in the pilot episode as well. To say they have an attraction towards each other would be putting it ...

      • mildly. However, I don’t really see the sizzle.

Michael DeLorenzo had a part of the action in this show, playing Emilio Pena. I didn’t think too much of it, however. I like him much better in his dance roles, like on Fame and in the movie Fast Forward.

There is a funny bit between

the character of Socrates Poole (Christian Clemenson), who works for the association and is a liaison of sorts for the tycoons and Brisco, and Comet the horse. They were betting over who got the stall. Truly, it’s funny, but you have to see it rather than hear about it.

Not a lot of highs in this episode.
