The reason why i wanted to come here is because i wanted to overcome my fears of butterflies. Yes, i’m scared of those butterflies tho’ i find them beautiful and colorful but still i’m afraid of them. Probably because of that belief when i was young, that butterflies will make you blind if ever you’ll touch them. Very very silly and stupid belief but yes, that’s the reason.

Anyway this is another tourists attraction in Sentosa, Singapore. Situated inside sentosa, you must first get to Sentosa by riding

an MRT and alighting at Harbour front station. From there, get yourself inside Vivo city shopping mall, 3rd level and get in to the Sentosa Express train. Then alight at the Imbiah Station. From there you will be able to see the park. In case you’re at the other part of Sentosa and you want to come here, simply ride the free Sentosa bus either blue or red line and get-off at the Imbiah Look-out. The entrance is about 10 SGD.

The first part is the Insect ...

      • Kingdom, this is like a museum full of insects. Every species from before till now were present at the museum. My fav ofcourse is the collections of the Beetles. Since i love the Beatles, i enjoyed this part of the museum. The museum is built like a cave to add spice to those insects. After the museum, you’ll be then find yourself in this mini butterfly park. The park is so nice, it’s like travelling in Pandora or a fairy land. Simply followed the tour trail of
        the park.

The park also includes a picture corner, in which you can personally carried those colorful and big parrots and take picture with them. You can also catch and touch those butterflies. They also have mini bridges, mini rivers and mini falls. You can also relaxed with their wooden swings.

Over-all, this place makes me overcome my fears. Tho’ i’m not saying that my fear vanished that quickly, it helps me a lot. It’s a beautiful place and i highly recommend this. Because you will learned and appreciate nature even more.
