  • I have never looked for Cadey products any shop because I was pretty sure they were really expensive because the were on TV all the time and as we all know TV commercials cost a lot so cheap products rarely get advertised
  • I was really happy about it because ammoniac damages your hair much so I was happy because I knew my hair wouldn’t get damaged much or at least it would get damaged but less than usually
  • The second great thing, well at least I thought it would be a great thing, was that I thought it wouldn’t smell that bad as hair colouring products usually smell
  • Anyway, when I came home I realised that the hair colouring gel I bought was of Cadey brand and I paid 3 Euro for it
  • I think I will buy this brand again but I really doubt I will take the 9.0 nuance because in my opinion it is a bit too dark and also a bit too grey

I saw a commercial on TV about Cadey hair and body products. They have a lot of different products for the sprotection from the sun, even those anti-cellulite ones. I have never looked for Cadey products any shop because I was pretty sure they were really expensive because the were on TV all the time and as we all know TV commercials cost a lot so cheap products rarely get advertised. Anyway, the other day I was at a shop where I sometimes buy my hair colour and I saw a section with pretty cheap colours. I took one and I realised they were without ammoniac. I was really happy about it because ammoniac damages your hair much so I was happy because I knew my hair wouldn’t get damaged much or at least it would get damaged but less than usually.

The second great thing, well at least I thought it would be a great thing, was that I thought it wouldn’t smell that bad as hair colouring products usually smell. I took 9. 0 number of the colouring gel because my hairdresser told me to do so because 9. 0 is supposed to look natural, blond but still natural. I went from brunette to blond so it pretty damaged my hair and also I had to use bleaching products and that turned my hair rather light and a bit orange so my hairdresser told me to use this one and I

      did.

Anyway, when I came home I realised that the hair colouring gel I bought was of Cadey brand and I paid 3 Euro for it. It was such a nice surprise, I thought Cadey products would cost much more. It is always great to find something cheap especially if the product is supposed to be good. The first few days after I had coloured my hair with this product I wasn’t really satisfied because it became rather gray. It was dark blond but greyish in the same time and I wasn’t really happy about it.

I don’t like grey nuances of hair. Things got better with second colouring when the grey almost vanished totally and what was left is natural blond but not that light as they promise in the title of the colour which says that this nuance is very light blond one. It looks natural I admit that, my sister has natural blond hair, she doesn’t dye it, it is naturally blond and our hair colour is almost the same now. Another thing that kind a disappointed me was the fact that this hair colour with smelled as every other hair colour with our without ammoniac. I mixed up all the ingredients I got in the box and I was astonished when I realised that the smell was really unpleasant and almost as intolerable as all other ones.

I really wasn’t expecting that because ammoniac is supposed to ...

      • be the smelling chemical element in all other hair colouring products and as there is no ammoniac in this one I was pretty sure it wouldn’t stink so much. I even asked my sister to dye my hair. She hates the smell of hair colouring creams but I told here that this one wouldn’t stink as it has no ammoniac. I was terribly wrong my sister helped me dye my hair but she hated every second of it. This is supposed to be a colouring gel and although I am used to colouring creams I must say that I haven’t noticed any difference.

You get a white bottle that can hold 150ml but actually holds only 50ml of colouring gel because you have to mix it up with the oxidant emulsion which you get in another 60ml bottle. The mixture in the end is quite creamy, dense and of a not very nice colour, something in between pale brown and yellow. It is easily applicable especially if you have a colouring brush as I do. I am rather satisfied with the way this colour covered my hair, although I had about 1cm of the newly grown hair and the other part was bleached and treated there isn’t a big difference between those two parts and the ends aren’t much lighter either. I am also satisfied with the fact that the colour didn’t rinse out after a few times I

        washed my hair.

The only thing I don’t really like is the fact that my hair got dark blond, almost light brown rather than blond I must say and I really hated that grey it had at first. What’s great is the price because at least I haven’t bought something expensive. I hated checking out pensive things because if I end up not linking them I regret the money I’ve spent. I don’t regret the money I’ve spent for this product because it wasn’t a lot of money but also because this product wasn’t all that bad. I was pretty concerned about the fact that the lack of ammoniac would make the colour go out sooner but it didn’t.

I also like the design of this product because it is in pink and blue colour. The hair of the girl on the box doesn’t look really nice and I must admit I would never buy this nuance if my hairdresser didn’t recommend it. My final opinion about this product: I don’t know if it actually had damaged my hair less than other hair colouring products but I can’t really say that I’m amazed by its effect on my hair. It smelled as every other colouring product with ammoniac and it also dyed my hair rather well. I think I will buy this brand again but I really doubt I will take the 9.

0 nuance because in my opinion it is a bit too dark and also a bit too grey.
