The name of the website AnimeNewsNetwork.com implies what it is all about. Basically, this website is the source of the latest on anything in the world of not just anime but also manga. If you want to know the latest manga titles, the best sellers, or anything new about manga and anime in Japan and America, then here is the website for you. However, it goes beyond just giving you the latest news and press releases; it actually has the widest and the most comprehensive database on almost every manga that’s been published, unlicensed or released in the US, Japan and other countries. The same thing goes with almost every anime title you could

think of. To top it all, it has an encyclopedia of information on everything related to anime, manga and your favorite voice actors and Japanese personalities.

This is not just an ordinary anime website that is made by fans and for fans. With a simple hint above, you can be sure to be overloaded with information when it comes to anime and manga. There are also interviews with famous animators and manga artists here, so this means that this website really has a high reputation, is established and very trusted when it comes to delivering nothing but pure information to all manga and anime fans around the world. In fact, just browsing some of ...

      • the anime titles I knew here made me learn which anime shows had already been aired in my country and some of the local voice actors involved. There really seems to be nothing I can think about which they lack as far as information was concerned. But it is not just an information site; it also has communities where fans can discuss with each other, art galleries and a question and answer section.

Since the website is in English, this is for English users only. I can’t see a multi-language translator here, so non-English visitors will not be able to experience or enjoy being a part of this community. This is sad because there

are millions of anime and manga fans from all over the world, and they even outnumber the English audience like those in America and Australia.

Some of the ads here are pretty distracting since they are not placed right. The homepage seem a little crowded or overwhelmed with a lot of texts or sections of articles and they seem jumbled together. Thankfully, the links to the main and sub-categories are strategically placed at the top of the page for easier access. The layout is pretty neat - just a white background and a blue banner on top.

All in all, this website is the source to turn to for everything related to anime and manga.
