This was one of the first episodes I really liked of this show. It was about the year 200,000 and the way the news were transmitted.

They are all on a satellite and they receive news trough some kind a machine, they have some kind a chip installed in their brains and the machine sends the news directly to their brains.

The Doctor realises that the Earth was supposed to evolve much faster but it hasn’t

evolved at all in the last 50 years.

      So the guys investigate.

There’s a floor 500 and everyone thinks that if they get a call there that means they were promoted but the floor 500 hides a terrible secret of dead people being manipulated by a very bad alien who is the one who is actually sending the news which he makes up just to keep the Earth ignorant and its towns and continents disconnected and all ...

      • that to stop the Earth from evolving.

The episode is really amazing; the dead people, who were writing the program for the news controlled by the alien, were really spooky and terrifying also pretty ugly.

The alien in the other hand was really ugly; it looked like a big pudding with terrifying teeth.

I liked the originality of the basic idea of the episode, the progress is not always a good thing and the aliens may have

been controlling our lives for years without us knowing it, just one human fool who is willing to obey the alien is enough to ruin the future of the whole Earth.

Maybe the situation was exaggerated but the fact is that people should think about what they do and the consequences their deeds can have.

The reason I liked this episode was because the topic was interesting and the plot too plus everything was so realistic and well played.
