Bourbons are a classic, tasty biscuit and this review is of the Happy Shopper Bourbon Creams which you tend to find in your local corner shops. Bourbons are usually the cheapest biscuits on display and I only paid 45 pence for this packet from the Happy Shopper brand.

For that you get just a standard sized

      packet, which is 150g.

If you went to Tesco, you could buy twice as many for the same price, but the corner shop is sometimes more handy for me as my nearest Tesco is a bus ride away.

I am happy to eat these Happy Shopper bourbons.

Like all bourbons, they are an oblong biscuit ...

      • sandwich, with a firm, dense, powdery, chocolate flavoured biscuit with a ’sandwich filling’ of a sort of chocolate cream.

The Happy Shopper brand are very good quality bourbon creams.

The biscuit is tasty and is delicious together with the chocolate cream part to make a great combination.

These are nice and filling and I especially like the

for dipping into my coffee as they are so firm, they seldom go too soggy and plop into it.

In summary, you can buy bourbon biscuits of an equal quality in Tesco for a cheaper price, but this brand is conveniently located in your corner shop and it is still one of the cheapest biscuits you can buy there.
