      I have no idea how or why I watched this movie. I think I was “trapped” at someone’s house when this

      came on cable.

      But in any event, I am not pleased with it.

      I thought that perhaps because Jamie Foxx was in it, that it would be MILDLY funny.

      I was wrong.

      This is just another of those trifling African American films that perpetuates all the wrong stereotypes about black Americans who are attempting to be both upwardly mobile and “hip-hopped” out.

      I didn’t like it.

      Having Gabrielle Union as Jamie’s love interest also didn’t help at all.

      She’s like the perpetual cheerleader, with no real depth to her acting.

      And if I see Morris Chestnut in ONE more upwardly mobile black-like-me type of film, I think I will vomit.

      Anyone with an ounce of sense will stay far far away from this movie.
