Sentosa Island, Singapore
  • After arriving at the Island, I suggest you to hurry buy the ‘Songs of the Sea’ ticket for there is limited audience space for both shows
  • And just another suggestion, please consider to do your dinner first before going here, since most of the food here isn’t as cheap as in the main town, and the food stalls are always full
  • Although the fee is a bit expensive, 10 SGD per person, but I think this is really a MUST see show if you are happen to have vacation to Singapore

Songs of the Sea is the title of a show located at Sentosa Island, Singapore.

This show is held twice a day on night. The first one is at 7.40 pm GMT+8, and the second (and also last for the day) one is at 8.40 pm GMT+8. You can reach the place from Level 3 of VivoCity mall, where the ticket booth for Sentosa Island is located. After arriving at the Island, I suggest you to hurry buy the ‘Songs of the Sea’ ticket for there is

limited audience space for both shows.

As the show is started at night by the sea, I suggest you to bring some sweater or jacket if you are not used to night air. And just another suggestion, please consider to do your dinner first before going here, since most of the food here isn’t as cheap as in the main town, and the food stalls are always full. Or you can also bring your dinner and eat it at the benches available around while waiting ...

      • for the show.

The show itself located on the beach area, so you are actually facing the sea (even sometimes you can feel the sea water sprays on your face too) when you watching the show. It use high technology to produce water spray layer for projecting several sea beings created by the lasers, and computer imaging. The show also using some water jets, and flame burst that you can feel it hot even from your seat.

This show is pretty much like an opera, where you

can enjoy music, dance, and the story of the show itself. The casts which are real people will get to interact with those lasers’ created creatures which are projected on the water layer.

If you are a Malaysian, you will get a bonus too, since you can hear at least one of Malaysian music played on the show.

Although the fee is a bit expensive, 10 SGD per person, but I think this is really a MUST see show if you are happen to have vacation to Singapore.
