Rangashankara, situated in J P Nagar, 6th phase, Bangalore is a venture of Arundhati Roy, in memorial of her late husband Shankar Nag. The theater is situated in a serene place, ideal for a theater, far away from

      the hubbubs of the world.

The ambience of the theater is very apt - posters of current and upcoming dramas can be seen all around.

The theater is kept very neat and tidy.

      The seating arrangement is good.

      • The theater itself is like an amphitheater, the stage is in the center at a lower level and the seats are in semi-circular fashion which rise higher.

        This arrangement is very convenient.

The ticket is priced at a

nominal 50 Rs and some dramas are worth much more.

They print out the events of the upcoming month and publish it for the public.

They play all languages - Hindi, Kannada, English, Marathi, Bengali, French, German - to name a few.
