      Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood Episode 40 begins with General Olivier Mira Armstrong arriving in Central and being questioned by King Bradley on what happened to Raven, she manages to make him think that Raven told her everything about him instead of the Elric Brothers and he offers her Raven’s vacant seat. Meanwhile Riza and Roy have an interesting conversation and Van Hohenheim’s tragic origins are revealed.

      This episode was fantastic;

      I loved what happened with the main story plot and how clever General Armstrong is. She also met Roy Mustang, which was really interesting. Roy and Riza’s conversation is really important so you have to pay attention. Along with Van Hoehenheim’s origin story, which is one of the saddest origin stories I’ve ever seen. It’s very well done though and the “dwarf in the flask” ...

      • is especially important.

        This episode had good character development for Van Hohenheim, who is a secondary character and Ed and Al’s father, so it was nice to see what made him the way he is. I loved this episode and didn’t want it to end when it did, especially since it ended on a huge, huge cliffhanger. But the best stuff is still coming and I

        can’t wait for next week’s episode. Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood never ceases to entertain and I look forward to ore of it. This episode was the best yet and it just keeps getting better.

        Funimation is streaming Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood on their website at Funimation.com/video under “Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood.” The English dub will be out next year. You have to see this show, you won’t be disappointed.
