“Meet Bill” is the kind of movie you watch when you have absolutely nothing to do, and you want to see a “bright” slightly sarcastic film. Bill is played by Aaron Eckhart. He wants to earn his father in-law’s respect, but can’t seem to do so.

He has his own dreams. And

his woman is cheating on him.

I have absolutely no idea why Jessica Alba was placed in this movie. She is eye candy I suppose.

And I heard that Lindsay Lohan was supposed to play the whimsical role. She actually would have been better in the role because she’s kind of ...

      • “flippant.

” Amanda Peet was also supposed to be cast instead of Elizabeth Banks. And yes, she would have made a better option too.

Come to think of it, the movie might not have seemed as “light” if these other actresses had assumed these characters. In any case, I watched, and could

really feel Bill’s pain in his quest for love and respect.

The comedy of errors rapidly unfolds, and will certainly keep your interest. But if you’re looking for anything really deep, you’re going to be disappointed.

In fact, after you’re done watching the movie, you’ll probably forget what you just watched.
