Eden Lake is one of those films that you’re really going to get into right away. It starts off like any other film, with the obligatory couple going off to enjoy the wilderness alone and really have a great time.

This couple heads to Eden Lake and immediately finds out that they

      are not alone.

There is a group of kids and they don’t quite have manners (understatement.

) In any event, what I liked about the movie was that these people weren’t American.

We always see English people acting very civil in many “mainstream foreign” films.

But these kids were downright nasty.

      ...

      • They were very believable and scary in that you could easily see kids their age acting the exact same way.

The story unfolds where the couple plays cat and mouse, trying to get away from the violent bunch.

This isn’t so much a “horror” movie as it is one of survival and

        suspence with EXTREME gore.

This film is not for the faint of heart.

I really loved it and it kept me riveted to the edge of my seat.

Don’t watch if you like neat and tidy endings.

This one doesn’t really have a twist ending.

But you might not like it.
