Molly Parker and Kiera Knightley star in this film about a mother who is addicted to heroin. She has been using this drug in front of her two young sons for quite some time.

However, the catch is that her oldest son (who often retrieves the drug for her)—think that all this time his mother has been taking “medicine” for

      some contrived illness.

It isn’t until he’s bullied by some kids at school that he realizes that his mother is really a junkie.

In fact, most of the people who his mother socializes with are heroin addicts as well.

Toward the beginning of the movie, a friend of his mother’s overdoses, and they are left to care for her ...

      • little girl.

While on the bus with the child Molly’s character hands the child off to a stranger who says he can help her medically since he is a doctor.

The movie really goes downhill from there as she decides she’s going to kick the habit cold turkey.

She arranges her room with all the accoutrement that she

needs in order to survive in her room for a week.

But after a while, her dealer finds her and gets her high once more.

The little boy and his brother are left to live with his grandparents while his mother gets clean.

This is a good film that you have to really be interested in, in order to enjoy.
