  • For your convenience, I suggest you to be on the bus tour ‘station’ (I give quotation mark since there is no real station) several minutes before the tour start, so that you can choose your seat freely
  • If you are a foreigner tourist, can’t understand Bahasa, have enough number of people (I think around 30 people is enough for 1 tour), and you want to listen to whatever the guide say in English, I do suggest you to book first before going here
  • But be consider to stay a bit away from the window as the hot air from that explosion really can touch your cheek though it won’t hurt you

Safari Night, is one of the event held by Taman Safari Indonesia, which is located on Cisarua, West Java, Indonesia. Taman Safari itself is a zoo, completed with some rentable hotel rooms if you want to spend your night there.

The Safari Night, as its name, is held only on weekend nights, Saturday, and Sunday. The first group is start at about 7 pm GMT+7, and the last one is start about 11 pm GMT+7. Each group will be seated in tour bus with a guide on it

to travel around the Taman Safari area and see the animals’ activity on night.

For your convenience, I suggest you to be on the bus tour ‘station’ (I give quotation mark since there is no real station) several minutes before the tour start, so that you can choose your seat freely. As long as you can reach them, I do suggest you to take the seats next to the windows for clear, great view.

Bus tour will move slowly or even stop on several spots where the animals are ...

      • currently do their eating or hunting time. The on bus guide will tell you everything about that animal on sight, but you can always ask for additional explanation whenever you have more questions. But too bad, there are no English speaking guides on common tour.

If you are a foreigner tourist, can’t understand Bahasa, have enough number of people (I think around 30 people is enough for 1 tour), and you want to listen to whatever the guide say in English, I do suggest you to book

        first before going here.

Right before the tour is over, there will be a great explosion with noticeable flame of fire at the exit gate of the tour route. Please don’t worry, everything is working as they are planned to be. But be consider to stay a bit away from the window as the hot air from that explosion really can touch your cheek though it won’t hurt you.

Overall, I think this is a must see event if you are happen to have a vacation around Cisarua, Bogor, or Bandung, Indonesia.
