Death Note Episode 9 has Light going to the University for the Entrance Exams, where he notices a strange man sitting funny at his desk. This is L of course and he does suspect that Light is Kira, but he does something that surprises even Light.

This episode was brilliant, absolutely brilliant, my first perfect 10 for an episode of Death Note so far, it

was just brilliant what L did, and I won’t give it away, but it was mind blowing. It was so clever and off the wall that it was a crowning moment of awesome in its own right.

The inner monologues between Light and L were brilliant in this episode, as this is the first time they have encountered each other. The writing ...

I do like the mind games of Death Note as it’s fun to try to figure out who will win in the end. This had a twist that surprised me a little at
how one of the character’s reacted, but it made me smile because I liked seeing them lose their cool. Death Note is definitely an excellent show and anime fans should definitely check it out.
