It seems that just about every woman has issues with dark under-eye circles and puffiness. Whether it’s an occasional issue for you that is induced by lack of sleep or a hangover, or a problem you deal with on a daily basis, you’ve probably tried many eye creams only to be disappointed again and again. However, your worries may now be over.

Last year Garnier Nutrisse launched the Skin Renew Anti-Puff Eye Roller. Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve likely seen a commercial for it, seen it listed as a “best product” in a women’s magazine or noticed

it in the cosmetic aisle at your local drugstore. The distinct green “wand” is eye catching, and at first it may sound like a gimmick. It features a metal roller ball at the tip, the very kind that you’ve probably used to apply lip gloss or perfume. Instead, you roll the wand over your under-eye area, and it disperses a formula containing caffeine and Pro-Vitamin B5. You might be thinking, wait, caffeine wakes me up when I drink coffee, but will it do the same for my tired eyes? In a word, yes.

When you apply the eye roller, you ...

      • feel a cool, tingling sensation. I’m not sure how that metal ball stays so cold, but it feels great against your tired eyes. Sweep the wand from the inner corner of your eye to the outer corner and back. Gently dab the skin to help the product absorb. After a couple of minutes, you can apply eye cream if you need moisture and concealer, if you choose. Within ten to fifteen minutes, you’ll definitely notice a difference: those dark circles seem to fade and the puffiness goes down a bit. Don’t expect a miracle, but do expect to see
        a difference.

The Garnier website claims that after a week of consistent use you will see a marked decrease of those circles and puffiness in general. I don’t use it everyday, but rather only when I feel that I need it. The wand lasts a long time as you only use a tiny bit of the product each time: a little goes a long way. The scent is very subtle and it dries quickly. This product is also very portable, so you can tuck it in your purse and use it later in the day when you need a little lift.
