  • These cookies are delicious, soft cookies with a dollop of fruit flavored jelly in the middle of them
  • The jelly really tastes like fruit, and is the best part of the cookie
  • I like to save the jelly part for the last bite
  • The bag also lacks any way of resealing the package, so the issue of freshness once again is a problem
  • Beside this minimal issue, these cookies are fantastic and I highly recommend you give them a try

Voortman Turnover Soft Cookies are one of my favorite kinds of cookies. I usually purchase the strawberry flavored ones, but this week decided to try the blueberry flavored ones.

These cookies are delicious, soft cookies with a dollop of fruit flavored jelly in the middle of them.

The jelly really tastes like fruit, and is the best part of the

cookie! I like to save the jelly part for the last bite! They are made with real fruit and have zero trans fat.

They have relatively low calorie and sugar amounts compared to most other kinds of cookies.

I don’t feel guilty letting my three year old daughter have one of these cookies for dessert! These cookies are fairly inexpensive as well.

For under $3 you get a 300g package that holds 12 cookies.

Twelve cookies does sound like a small amount, but one cookie is more than filling and can be considered a serving.

These cookies tend to be overlooked when people purchase cookies mainly because they don’t have flashy packages or run television commercials.

      I find these cookies ...

far superior to any other brand of cookies; their quality far surpasses the more well-known brands.

The only negative I can find with these cookies is the bag they come in.

The bag is very awkward to open; the cookies have to slide out horizontally from the bag, and it often leads to ripping of the bag and a potential

loss of freshness for remaining cookies.

The bag also lacks any way of resealing the package, so the issue of freshness once again is a problem.

I solve this by just opening the whole bag and placing all the cookies in a large plastic baggy.

Beside this minimal issue, these cookies are fantastic and I highly recommend you give them a try!
