I first bought the Creative because it was so vastly cheaper than the Ipods currently out. I figured an MP3 player is an MP3 player regardless of manufacturer, and as long as I could listen to music, then I had no need for brand names. While the Creative Zen’s software does an adequate job of playing music (only in .mp3) and
viewing photos (only in .jpg), the hardware itself is quite prone to malfunction and breaks down over time.
If you simply need an mp3 player to tide you over for about 3 months until you have saved up enough for one worth your money, then the Creative Zen Sleek Photo would be an almost justifiable expenditure.
