This is one of those products that I tried out in the store before purchasing because I wanted to make sure that it was the right match for me. So often with highlighters such as the Maybelline Mineral Power Illuminator, the manufacturer puts too much glitter into the product. Instead of illuminating with a subtle, more natural glow, the product gives you a really tacky look that comes off as more fake than it does natural. The consistency of the illuminator itself is not bad.
