  • The poker players at Goldie's Shoreline Casino are generally either new to the sport or are not very skilled, and tend to be pushovers to some extent, although sometimes I have noticed that it is funner to simply extend the game, thus promoting a friendly atmosphere
  • For the casual gamer, I can recommend this place highly, it is always a fun time

Goldie’s Shoreline Casino is far smaller than the casinos I am used to. In Vancouver, the casinos are usually a fair bit larger.

Goldie’s Shoreline Casino is kind of a mixed-bag in a sense; it’s decent and has a lot of good atmosphere but ultimately it is only ok, never excellent.

First of all, I want to give Goldie’s Shoreline Casino credit for being small and catering to a more casual atmosphere. Goldie’s Shoreline Casino is quite small and quiet. On the negative side this means that Goldie’s Shoreline Casino looks quite shabby on the outside; despite Goldie’s Shoreline Casino not being much to look at,

it is quite nice on the inside. It has all the card games you might expect (poker, blackjack) and of course slots, but a hardcore gambling junkie may not be as satisfied as the casual player.

One thing I would like to point out about Goldie’s Shoreline Casino is that it has extremely friendly employees. The waiters and waitresses make sure drinks are filled and are not only extremely punctual about doing so, but are very friendly when they do it, almost as if they truly want to work there, and are not simply paying the bills. The pit bosses, too, are quite good at allowing ...

      • free food out, thus making sure everyone has a very good time. In addition to the exemplary service of the waiters, waitresses, and pit bosses, the music that is played is less agitating than most other casinos’ music, thus creating a more casual atmosphere.

The poker players at Goldie’s Shoreline Casino are generally either new to the sport or are not very skilled, and tend to be pushovers to some extent, although sometimes I have noticed that it is funner to simply extend the game, thus promoting a friendly atmosphere.

Goldie’s Shoreline Casino has a variety of restaurants. The vast majority of these restaurants are typical of

casinos: fast food with highly Americanized and homogenized to the point where none of the food is terribly interesting, so perhaps it might be a good idea to eat elsewhere before or after you gamble.

Overall, Goldie’s Shoreline Casino has quite a few ups, though it looks quite shabby from the outside. It has tons of poker tables, blackjack tables, roulette and hundreds upon hundreds of slots. Goldie’s Shoreline Casino is a smaller casino and thus, a hardcore gambler may feel out of place, and might be better off playing elsewhere. For the casual gamer, I can recommend this place highly, it is always a fun time.
