      The Osmonds: Gospel Favorites is yet another incarnation of these wonderful brothers. They combine in different groupings depending on what is happening in their lives. For this religious album, the four singing brothers are Alan, Merrill, Wayne, and Jimmy. Jay must have been trying a solo

      thing again, but he’s not on this one. I really adore the brothers, no matter who is or isn’t singing, but Merrill is truly needed to give them that high range in harmonies.

      They open with a song I’ve never heard before called Friends and I’m hooked. It has the melody, the message, and that wonderful blend of Osmond voices that makes me smile. Then they go into I Am a Child of God, which is probably the most well known song for members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, which is their ...
