Trigun is a Japanese anime space western set in the distant future on the planet Gunsmoke. Vash the Stampede has been hired by Cliff Schezar played by Ivan Buckley to be his bodyguard to protect his guest Marianne Orlerkaizen. Meryl and Milly wander into town looking for water and Vash the Stampede. They offer to

be his bodyguards and discover there’s no water in the town.

This episode was really good. The story was entertaining and funny. Vash the Stampede is both humorous and serious at the same time. The animation is nice and it’s fun to watch. This episode was very interesting because it gives Vash character development, along with an interesting look at truth and deception. It also has quite a bit of humor in this episode, to keep the mood light.

anime because it’s really good. It’s a great story, and it’s very deep. It also has a very good soundtrack and is very memorable because of its characters and storyline. I have to recommend this for the older audience because of language, blood and violence, even though it says 13+ on the back of
the DVDs, this is for at least ages 16 and up.

Trigun was broadcast on Adult Swim from April 4, 1998 – September 30, 1998. Trigun is available on DVD from Geneon Entertainment, unfortunately, they stopped distributing DVDs in 2007 and it’s out of print. It’s still in stock at Rightstuf.com in the Trigun Remix DVDs brand new.
