I have read the book ‘The clue in the jewel box’ written by Carolyn Keene. This book is one among the Nancy Drew series. This book is , more or less, interesting to read. The story line is good and the content is interesting. This book is an ideal book for those who are fond of

mystery and especially those who are fond of Nancy Drew’s books.

It so happens that Nancy comes across an elderly lady who was formerly a queen. But unfortunately, due to a revolution, only she and her grandson had survived. Everybody else in the family was dead. The lady, Mrs Alexandra and her grandson escaped from there. But ...

      • sad to say, misfortune struck again and the grandson was lost. Mrs Alexandra never again found her grandson, but she is hopeful that Nancy could locate her grandson. Nancy considers the case and decides to give it a try.

There are dangerous crooks in the story. These people cause a lot of trouble for Nancy, but Nancy

is not afraid of all this and it is a pleasure to read the boldness and intelligence of Nancy in outsmarting these crooks. Whether Nancy succeeds in locating Mrs Alexandra’s grandson or not forms the rest of the story. I enjoyed this book. It is worth reading and I rate it 7 out of 10 points.
