I have read the book ‘mystery of the moss-covered mansion’ written by Carolyn Keene. This is one among the Nancy Drew series. However, I did not like this book and the content in the book is not that good. The story is rather monotonous and not interesting.

The story starts with Nancy Drew making efforts to track down a

missing heiress. As in the other Nancy Drew series, Nancy ponders much about the case and goes through whatever clues she has got. As the story goes on, we read that Nancy and her friends, Bess and George, come upon a mansion which is moss-covered. It is a mysterious mansion. At this juncture, the story becomes somewhat interesting.

      • They also hear noises coming from the mansion. All this is very curious and Nancy is determined to solve the mystery. At some points, the book is good and there are interesting events.

But overall, I cannot say that I liked the book. At least when compared to the other Nancy Drew series, this book is rather a

poor book. Whether Nancy finds the missing heiress or not forms the rest of the story. Nancy also has to find out about the strange noises coming from the mansion.

I do not feel this is a book worth recommending for those who love quality mystery stories. I will rate this book only 5 out of 10 points.
