In The Virginian: The Man from the Sea, Shirley Knight and Carol Lynley play twin sisters, Susan and Judith Morrow, respectively, who are visiting with Judge Henry Garth. Knight and Lynley aren’t related, but they way they were made up, they really did look like twins. Bravo to the

casting department for putting these women together and then to the makeup and hair folks for accessorising these two beautiful women in such a way that they complimented each other in looks.

Tom Tryon sings and acts very charming as Kevin Doyle who is looking for land and a wife. He ...

      • flirts with newspaper woman, Molly Wood (Pippa Scott), who is still single and being wooed by the Virginian, Trampas, and Steve (James Drury, Doug McClure, and Gary Clarke). He actually adds some nice dimension to the show.

Lynley so often played nutty characters, and not nutty humorous, but insane or off

balanced roles. She was so pretty and had a lovely voice, but for some reasons, she was cast in lunatic characters many times. This role is one of them.

There’s plenty of drama in The Virginian: The Man from the Sea along with interspersing of comedic elements. It makes for a decent episode.
