  • The show was ultimately of course about Queen music and as far as a good singalong goes it was perfect all your favourite Queen songs entwined into the plot as one great excuse for a sing song
  • One thing i found very impressive was the effects used, The Dominon Theatre has a cirtain grandness about it and some of the things done on the stage are incredible
  • The play is cirtainly a lot of fun, but unfortunately if you are looking for an in depth plot to get caught up in, this isnt for you

A few months ago i got a chance to see ‘We Will Rock You’ A west end musical full of life. I was really excited standing outside the Dominon theatre in the huge crowd all waiting to go inside, I was practically shakeing i was so excited.

This show i had been really looking forward to and it did not dissapoint.

The show was really funny with a good cast (not much of a star cast) The jokes were hilarious, altho

maybe not always apropriate for some younger audiences.

The Actors have superb voices making the songs fantastic to listen to and very entertaining! One thing i found very impressive was the effects used, The Dominon Theatre has a cirtain grandness about it and some ...

      • of the things done on the stage are incredible! (think rising stages going above the audience) I must admitt, as far as plot goes there wasnt much there.

A story set in the future where the making of music is forbidden and all musical instruments were destroyed long ago, All music is made by the GAGA’s (cyber people) and everyone is the same.

Enter the bohemians, A bunch determined to find the ‘one’ who can bring back the real music and

throw the ‘killer queen’ from power.

As it turns out Galileo Figerro is the boy to save the day, with his ‘chick’ Scaramooche.

The play is cirtainly a lot of fun, but unfortunately if you are looking for an in depth plot to get caught up in, this isnt for you.

Above all ‘We Will Rock You’ is a funny (and occasionally slightly rude) play and of course, its not about the plot at all, it is overall an excuse to sing Queen songs!
