Do you like puzzle type of games? If your answer is yes, Crayon Physics Deluxe is a revolutionary game which anyone could enjoy. I am sure even if you are not into puzzle type of games you will want to give it a try due to the creativeness of the idea used in this very cool game. I loved it!

The concept of the game is very simple. It is basically a sheet of a notebook and you have a pen which changes color time to time. There is a scene in every mission and the goal is to collect the star by moving the small red ball from one place to another. However, the scene changes in every mission, so while it can be easy to move the ball in some missions, it can also be so hard in some others.

The thing I like best about this game is, you move the ball by making physical touchs.

For example, if you draw a bigger circle above the ball, the circle will fall down onto the ball and so the ball will move towards one side. The physical reactions look really cool in this game. It looks they have taken many things like center of gravity, geometry of the drawing and such. It feels like everything you draw becomes real and this makes the game very enjoyable.

In some missions, it shows the basic things to do. For example in first mission it just shows a place and it is written “Draw a box here” there, if you draw a box to the shown area, your box falls down and the edge of the box touches the ball and makes it go forward towards the star.

As you progress in the game things get more exciting. Especially when it comes to drawing objects which will move around an axis. Axis points are just little blue dots which ...

      • look like turning around themselves. Once you draw a line or an object which touches an axis from a point, it will just fall and swing around that axis. In one mission for example, there is a flat surface and the star is just ahead of the ball. There is an axis point above the ball. You draw a hammer above the ball, facing upwards and once you finish drawing it, it just turns around the axes and touches the ball like someone hits the ball in a golf game, and the ball moves towards the star.

It is possible to complete the missions in many ways, however the main goal of the game is, completing the missions with awesome ideas. I am not very good at finding awesome ideas really, but I have found a few and I just can’t describe what kind of a feeling it is.

Crayon Physics Deluxe is good for spending some time,

and it might help to get rid of your stress, and it will make your brain work. I believe it might be very useful for children too. As you already might know, brain exercises are just like muscle exercises. As you do it more, you will improve yourself with it.

Crayon Physics Deluxe is some kind of an addicting game also, however it just loses its attractivity if you play it for hours. When I installed it first, I just played it for a very long time and completed many missions. Being an addictive game will make all the missions end up for you very soon. However, you don’t have to worry. There are thousands of extra missions available on the internet and I have downloaded 1000 extra missions already, so I wish happy and awesome solutions to everyone! A simple, but a very creative game and I think this concept has many available rooms to develop in my opinion.
