      Surprise your guests with this unusual appetizer. Prepare medium-sized tomatoes by cutting off the tops and removing the insides - seeds, etc.

      Turn the tomatoes upside down and let them sit

      like that while you are working on the stuffing, so that the extra juice comes out.

      For the stuffing you can use canned or fresh mushrooms; the fresh ones will need ...

        Dice the mushrooms, as finely as you can.

        Dice some onion, mix it with the mushrooms, add some sour cream and mix it all well


        Back to the tomatoes.

        Sprinkle some salt & pepper into each one before stuffing.

        Stuff the tomatoes and serve.

        You can decorate them with parsley, sticking some into each one.

        The appetizer is served cold.
