When this famous Mall along the northern part of city opened, I was one of those who graced the occasion by going there and checking some stores. A bunch of luxury stores opened and along some, there were famous brands. As both aspiring shoppers fill the store, I myself couldn’t control but get excited for the fact that bunch of brands were before me. One of the things I anticipate when I visit a newly opened store are the brands and the current stock that are on display. Lancome was offered to me as one of those scents which were just currently released this year. Hypnose came out earlier however this was Hypnose Senses. It incorporates sensual attributes of a woman in a modern and more fashionable way. We tried to be as close to the real experience of modern women as much

as possible, hence the popularity of perfumes is always the last instrument of simulation.

The smells mimics a fresh floral bouquet. I can sense a roses, lily of the valley, jasmine and a bit of mimosa. It registers low in the beginning. It smells traditional and cool. It is light and seems to be very dainty. If I have to translate it on what I felt, it was like mushing roses and extracting its smell carefully. It was very soft, nothing too distracting when you smell it. It was also simple and no added inauthentic flavor. It was quite an incredible opening. Full of sharpness and purely blissful. When a scent is purely floral, I have qualms as to its height or peak then as to how it subsides. After a few minutes after opening, it escalates to a sharp smell it was like ...

      • light caramel but not too sugary. There was overdose of sweetness I suppose because it tends to relay this kind of character. I am thankful for this sweet characteristic during the heart because it had a delicate side. Had it been it is too candied, I would abhor this scent completely. One important observation I had is the persistent bursting of rose even in the background. Then when the scent dries down, I sensed musk but the floral smell was more pretty and affable.

I like this perfume simply because of its lightness. I hate floral smell when it becomes powdery, soapy and common in the end. Most of the floral scents I have tested smelled like old soap for my aunt. Other smell like the fragrance of an antibacterial spray from Lysol. But the most scared characteristic I am conscious about is the

powdery smell. When the smell drifted to another part after several seconds after opening, I had this qualms if it can be too sugary given that the sweetness was all over the scent. Gladly, the dry down shifted and became pleasant again. There was no warm characteristics in the end, no candy like smell, nothing unappealing. It maintained its earlier introduction as something full of sensuality. This has brainy sensibility for a floral scent. I often say that sometimes floral scent are too airhead, too ambiguous and too common. Here, the style is over the top. I would say outstanding and even incredible in giving off its final beauty. I displays depth in term so hints and nuances yet it remains within its ambit. Other scent when it hits other notes, it tends to be so elusive apparently this was not the case with this perfume.
