Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood Episode 22 starts off with Ling trying to rescue Lan Fan after she’s seriously injured by Wrath. He attempts to escape with her while being pursued by Wrath and Gluttony. Meanwhile, Ed and Al are battling Scar while waiting for Ling’s signal. Winry hears Ed and Al fighting and learns the truth about who killed her parents, grieved and enraged, she picks up a gun and points it at Scar, who is responsible for their death, Ed and

Al try to stop her while trying to keep Scar at bay.

This episode was beautiful, that’s the only way to describe it. The animations, the dialogue, the drama, the emotional moments in it are just incredible. Ed, who isn’t one to give comfort to others, is there for Winry when she needs him most. It also shows how much he cares about her when he’s trying to get her away from the battlefield so she won’t be hurt by Scar.

      • I love the dialogue in this episode; it’s one of the strongest points in Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. It’s what makes the series stand out, besides the excellent story and action scenes. The beautiful dialogue in this episode that grabs your heart strings shows you who these characters are. Ed’s speech at the end of this episode is truly a crowning moment of awesome, and will leave you in tears.

I love this episode so much. It’s just too beautiful for

words. This episode is a true testament to the genius of Hiromo Arakawa, who wrote the original story that the anime is based on. This show is one of the best I’ve seen and is one of my favorite anime. I recommend this show whole heartedly, because it’s so good.
