In the first episode of Fraggle Rock, we are briefly introduced to the Gorgs, giant creatures that apparently have their own world just outside of Fraggle Rock. The second episode of the series, Wembley and the Gorgs, gives us a better understanding

      about who they are.

This episode was actually pretty decent.

Wembley is apparently a character that can’t make decisions for himself and does pretty much what he is told to do.

This results in him being captured by the Gorgs and, because he is so agreeable, is treated like a pet; only he doesn’t realize he is essentially a slave to the creatures with no freedom.

The Gorgs themselves are actually a bit funny.

The one king sounds very familiar and I keep wanting ...

to look up to see who does the voice.

But, they seem to be somewhat stupid and very clumbsy.

They are convinced they rule the entire universe even though their universe is very small with no subjects.

      It was definitely a better

episode than the first one we watched; good enough where I had to talk my daughter out of watching a third one so I could watch some more adult-oriented programming instead.

      So far, so good.

This series seems to be entertaining another generation the way it managed to do mine.
