Fullmetal Alchemist: Episode 17 begins with Maria Ross being questioned in the murder of Maes Hughes and being put in jail. Everyone wonders what’s going on and Ed and Al go to ask Colonel Mustang what’s going on. Barry the Chopper breaks Ross and Ling out of jail and then she’s confronted by Colonel Mustang.

This episode is excellent, with all the things going on, the surprises keep coming and coming. The middle

and ending of this episode are shocking. Nothing is as it appears and motivations seem to be leaning toward vengeance. Mustang appears to have done something terrible but appearances can be deceiving.

This episode has all the intrigue and plot twists that keep coming in the show now that it follows the manga. I really like the story line. It’s very good; I like how it’s going in a different,

      • darker direction. Maria Ross also has a more important role than before and I like the fact that she’s in it more. She’s not just a side character now.

There are so many reasons for watching this show but there’s only one thing you need to know: This show is awesome, no matter which way you look at it. The plot is one of the best I’ve seen and I

love watching every second of it. This is one of the great animes that you can’t afford to miss. It just keeps getting better form here on out.
