My Lady Captor is an enchanting historical romance set along the English Scottish boarder in the 1380’s. The story involves an impoverished but prideful Scottish clan and a wealthy and stubborn English Knight.

The story begins on the battlefield as the grave robbers take what they can from the dead.

Among this unsavory lot are our heroine, Lady Sorcha, and her cousin desperately searching for her brother among the wounded.

      As she realizes

that her brother has been taken captive by the English she begins to feel hopeless because she knows that her clan can not afford to pay any ransom that might be demanded.

But as she looks around she finds a wounded English knight and an idea frames itself in her mind.

She and her cousin take the wounded knight captive and bring him back to their home.

When they arrive they explain to ...

      • the other members of their clan that they will ransom the knight for her brother.

The story then takes a turn as Sorcha finds herself feeling things for this knight that she has never felt before.

As she falls for him she gives in to temptation and finds passion in his arms.

However she must still ransom him.

Once her brother returns and the knight to is returned a new battle begins

as Sorcha is captured by her knight and brought back to his home.

This is a wonderfully entertaining love story with many twists and turns that keep you guessing.

I won’t say exactly how things turn out only that love conquers all! I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys historical romance.

The story is written to convey the characters accents and adds a nice sense of accuracy to the tale.
