My daughter was watching some Christmas specials on TV last night and came across one that wasn’t too bad; though not overly impressive, Casper’s Haunted Christmas. This animated film featured Casper the friendly ghost (with a much deeper voice than I remember him having) and

his friends at a local school apparently meant for creatures that go bump in the night and was about how the scary creatures find ways to celebrate Christmas.

This, of course, involved scaring people.

Which, if you know anything about Casper (in any form he has been portrayed) you know is something he is not a big fan of doing.

The second half of this special was probably the best.

That was the part where he had to scare someone if he wanted to get presents for Christmas.

      It was ...

a bit predictable, he naturally was going to scare the grumpy guy with the hiccups and that guy would end up having the best Christmas of his life when the hiccups were gone.

But, it still ended up being somewhat entertaining to watch.

      I know

      my daughter certainly enjoyed it.

Again, this wasn’t the best Christmas special that was ever made.

But, if you have kids in your house, it is one that is definitely worth watching at least one time with them.

I’m just not sure it will become a Christmas tradition or anything.
