Personally, I enjoy playing computer games and I can be considered as a gamer because I have played, examined and evaluated many games in the past.

However, I don’t play all the games with a passion unless the game has something special and when it comes to Assassin’s Creed, there are plenty of things to talk about.

Let’s talk about the visual side of the game first. The graphics are really good in Assassin’s Creed, especially the sceneries, buildings look very good. Character models are also good but it is similar to other games on the market and I don’t see any of them so special. The animations of the characters are satisfying.

The game can be played with both Direct X 9 and

Direct X 10 features. DirectX 10, of course, looks more realistic than Direct X9 but I can’t say that the Direct X 10 implementation in this game is as good as Crysis.

Gameplay is quiet good. There are some innovations in this game, which makes it easier to play and more enjoyable. For example, you won’t have to fine tune all of your movements in order to stay on a wooden beam, or to jump from one beam to another, climb up buildings etc. These things are done automatically and you will notite that, unlike Prince of Persia series, this game is not based on jumping & grabbing like an acrobat. As these things are done more easily, you can concentrate on having ...

      • fun in the storyline.

One good innovation in this game is, its sword fighting scenes. It is not so hard to beat a bunch of enemies with your sword, but still it has plenty to offer you. The excitement, and stylish sword moves will make you enjoy your actions.

Stealth is an important issue in an assassin’s mission, but it is not impossible to stay anonymous even if you kill a few dozens of enemy soldiers in the game. This means, you won’t have an unbreakable challange in such situations. Assassionation itself, is a great feeling. You can use it to reduce the number of your enemies without any challange, however it is not very easy to stay unnoticed if there are other hostiles

        nearby.

The artifical intelligence is OK, but not something unbelievable. However, such flaws make the game more playable, otherwise I can’t imagine how hard it could be if they made those stuff so realistic.

So, as a third person action – arcade game, Assassin’s Creed is a good choice to have fun with many things to discover inside. And, if they can exploit well what they have started in this game, then I believe Assassin’s Creed II would be even better.

Conclusion: The Good: Graphics, animations, easiness of acrobatic movements and stylish sword fighting actions, fun based game with serious missions

The Bad: The missions get a little repetitive at a point, but when you get close to end of the game, it becomes very exciting again.
