Aspire One D150 is a second generation netbook by Acer. The Aspire One D150 has a 1 gigabyte harddrive, a WiFi 802. 11b/g Bluetooth, 3 USB ports and a card reader.

It has the same 10-inches height as EEE PC netbooks. One of Aspire One D150’s unique features is its wide selection of different casing colors such as red, blue, white and black compare to other netbooks.

I prefer the blue and black for men while red and white are fabulous for women.

It has a 6-cell 5200mAH battery supply with a 7 hour battery life, longer than other netbooks.

One major upgrade of the Aspire One D150 is its better processor, 1. 66GHz Intel Atom N280 with an additional 60MHz speed.

Although it still has its 1024×600 pixels monitor, the Acer CrystalBrite TFT LCD looks more magnificent than most I’ve seen and can be compared on its design with the Sony Vaio P. The Aspire One D150 has buttons for both ...

      • Wi-fi and Bluetooth so that it can be easily switch on or off when not in use to save more battery life.

It also has a Recovery Management Tool pre-installed which makes a full backup of the system to a DVD and restore it back later when needed or reformatted. Its Trackpad has multi-touch capability and now located at the bottom rather than on the sides.

The cursor keys of the Aspire One D150 needs some improvements because it’s harder to use. I

always end up pressing the Page Up/Home when hitting the left-cursor key and the Page Down/End key rather than the right-cursor key.

It gets annoying at times when I’m scrolling down on pages while browsing. The trackpad of the D150 is a little bit narrow which makes multi-touch actions harder to press.

The Acer Aspire One D150 doesn’t have much new capabilities. It has some few minor changes on its design and features but overall Acer has done it again by creating a versatile laptop.
