My husband and I like to get away a couple of times a year to Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Eureka Springs is a quaint little tourist town in the hills of Arkansas, sometimes referred to as “little Switzerland”. We have stayed at several of the Hotels there, and on out last trip decided to try the Matterhorn Towers.

When we walked into the lobbey we knew we had found our place. The Matterhorn is right down town in the middle of all the hustle, but once

inside you feel as though you are way away from all of it.

The manager was so friendly, he made us feel right at home. The lobbey desk and other furnishings are all antiques.

It was very clean, cozy and just very peaceful. They have little shelves and such set up with old time objects, and on all the balconies are old style rocking chairs.

We were pleasently surprised at the reasonable cost of a room. The price was less than any of the hotels ...

      • we has tried in Eureka Springs before.

Our room was very roomy and clean, and to our delight there was a nice size jacuzzi in the bathroom which we enjoyed immensely after a day of walking, shopping and site seeing. It was wonderful to have such a nice, quiet place to stay, but still be right next to everything we wanted to be able to go to.

The trolley car office is actually right across the street. When we got up in the morning, the

local newspaper was laying outside out door.

We were able to read the paper while enjoying our continental breakfast in the cozy little dining area. We have found our Hotel in the Matterhorn and will not even have to decide the next time we go.

When we went to leave all the staff were there to see us off and gave us some great advice on places we should visit that we hadn’t been aware of.
