  • I like this game a lot, not as much as the first one or the second one, but I had fun playing it
  • Since this came out after Kingdom Hearts 2, I noticed it helped to fill in a lot of the gaps that were in the Kingdom Hearts 2 prologue, which is confusing sometimes because I had never played Chain of Memories for the Gameboy Advance
  • This game helped fill in those gaps and was interesting in both story and gameplay
  • Unfortunately, some of the Kingdom Hearts 1 cast could not return and Kairi is played by Alyson Stoner
  • Fun and challenging, this game should please many Kingdom Hearts fans and newcomers alike, but Kingdom Hearts 1 should definitely be played before putting this one in

Kingdom Hearts Re: ChaIn of Memories is a remake of Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories that came out for the Gameboy Advance awhile ago. Recently, Square Enix remade the game in Japan as part of the Kingdom Hearts 2 final Mix+ re-release of the game. They decided to bring the remake over to the United States and it’s pretty good. It was released December 2, 2008 in time for Christmas and follows Sora, Donald and Goofy on more adventures that take place right after Kingdom Hearts 1. While Searching for Riku, Sora follows a mysterious man to a large castle, once they go into the castle, all their memories are lost and they learn that in order to

regain their memories they must travel up the floors of Castle Oblivion, while battling members of a mysterious Organization.

I like this game a lot, not as much as the first one or the second one, but I had fun playing it. This game is fun and exciting, after playing the first two games, I was really looking forward to this one. Since this came out after Kingdom Hearts 2, I noticed it helped to fill in a lot of the gaps that were in the Kingdom Hearts 2 prologue, which is confusing sometimes because I had never played Chain of Memories for the Gameboy Advance. • and gameplay. It isn’t just button mashing, you have to think about how to use the cards in your deck to your advantage, as all your moves with the Keyblade and magic are controlled by the cards in your deck. I like the battle system because it’s different from the other games. The story is also entertaining and intriquing, it keeps you guessing about what happens next. Haley Joel Osment reprises his role as Sora, David Gallagher reprises his role as Riku.

Unfortunately, some of the Kingdom Hearts 1 cast could not return and Kairi is played by Alyson Stoner.

Kingdom Hearts: Re:Chain of Memories is unique because you don’t just play through Sora’s story line,

you also play through Riku’s story line after you beat the game as Sora, it’s an extra challenge that even makes the game more fun because they change up the gameplay a bit. Re:Chain of Memories is a solid addition to the Kingdom Hearts franchise that has excellent voice acting, unique gameplay and an excellent storyline that we’ve all come to expect from Square Enix and Disney. I had a little trouble remembering combos but I still had a great experience playing through the game. I recommend this game because I think it’s very good. Fun and challenging, this game should please many Kingdom Hearts fans and newcomers alike, but Kingdom Hearts 1 should definitely be played before putting this one in.
